Synopsis
--------

Increases mouse sensitivity whilst pilot, makes it much easier to control the vehicle.

To configure after installing, in Tribes 2 click Start -> Scripts, scroll to Pilot Mode, and click the options tab. Select your options and hit save.

By default some new multipliers have been set for each vehicle. The original Tribes 2 setting for each vehicle is 1.0x, Deadzone on, however you will probably find that the vehicles are more responsive, especially with the DeadZone off.

This is a rewrite of Crunchy's PilotMode version 2.0, I have added Team Aerial Combat vehicle support (as of TAC beta 0.55), fixed a couple bugs, and moved the config screen from a keybinding to support.vl2's scripts window.

There are now config tabs for TAC flying vehicles. Ground vehicles use their equivalents from base Tribes 2 for settings as they are quite similar.

Install
-------
Drop PilotMode.vl2 in Dynamix\Tribes2\Gamedata\base

This script requires Writer's support.vl2 -- available from http://www.planettribes.com/depot

If you are upgrading from Crunchy's PilotMode, you should just be able to drop in the new PilotMode.vl2 to replace it. However if you extracted your .vl2 as individual files, make sure to remove the old PilotMode.cs from Dynamix\Tribes2\Gamedata\base\scripts\autoexec

History

PilotMode II 1.00 - August 25, 2002.

- Added Team Aerial Combat flying vehicles support
- Removed key binding and moved configuration dialog into the scripts dialog provided by Writer's support pack.
- Dead Zone? setting for each vehicle would not display in the dialog after loading if it was set previously (would still show unchecked). Fixed.
- If a vehicle type was unknown to the script, it's deadzone, yaw, and pitch values were all set to "". This caused some control issues in TAC. Fixed--if a vehicle type is unknown, it's parameters are not changed on mounting the vehicle and a console error message is printed.
- Added a toggle for Invert Y-Axis, might as well have it here

PilotMode 2.0 - Crunchy's last release, spring/summer 2001
